Replaced Components
The 2000-2005 Buick LeSabre is built with the following suspension components:
2000-2005 Buick LeSabre Coil Springs (x2)- Coil springs hold the vehicle up but be careful, they are rated for and designed to work with the rest of the suspension system, so when you change air shocks to passive shocks, then you will need a different rated coil spring that works well with the new type of shocks.
2000-2005 Buick LeSabre Struts (x2)- a type of shock absorber; has metal tubing filled with gas-charged hydraulic fluid that is connected to the wheel of a vehicle in order to reduce the effects of vertical travel on a rough surface which controls the bounciness, and therefore comfort, of a vehicle.; the air spring assembled on top of the strut is commonly referred to as an air strut.
2000-2005 Buick LeSabre Shock Absorbers (x2)- a metal tubing filled with gas-charged hydraulic fluid that is connected to the wheel of a vehicle in order to reduce the effects of vertical travel on a rough surface which controls the bounciness, and therefore comfort, of a vehicle.
Suspension Failure Signs
Your Buick LeSabre has had a really great run. But it’s probably time to take a good look at the suspension. You need to look for signs of a leaking or failed suspension before you wear out your entire vehicle. Sagging and inflated sides are a huge red flag. Check the overall ride height- is it consistent, 24/7? If not, you could have a bad suspension. Check your air compressor. If it’s working too hard, or not at all, this is another sign. If a warning symbol is lit up on your panel, you know there may be trouble. A repair should be in your near future.
OEM Replacement Cost
+ Strut ($289/strut)
= TOTAL: Over $578 (and that doesnt even include replacing electronic components that are known to fail such as the height sensors).
This kit includes two rear shocks and two rear springs. They are easily installed, and will convert your ride to coil spring suspensions in about one hour per wheel. Coil springs are more reliable than air suspension, and once you get it fixed with our kit you will never have to worry about it again. No modifiers are needed- at this low price you are getting a direct replacement suspension. Detailed instructions, online installation videos, and tech support from our ASE certified experts all help customers get the kit installed easily. The cost of the kit is a fraction of the price of dealer replacement.
