Replaced Components
The 2006-2011 Buick Lucerne is built with the following front suspension components: 2006-2011 Buick Lucerne Electronic Struts (x2)- a type of shock absorber; has metal tubing filled with gas-charged hydraulic fluid that is connected to the wheel of a vehicle in order to reduce the effects of vertical travel on a rough surface which controls the bounciness, and therefore comfort, of a vehicle. The Cadillac Devilles struts, while having coil-springs, use an electronic signal to stiffen or soften the dampening of the strut. 2006-2011 Buick Lucerne Height Sensors (x2)- a linkage located near each wheel of a vehicle with any electronic suspension that, either mechanically or electronically, constantly measures the height of the vehicle, and reports this information back to the control module so that the computer can identify if changes in height need to be adjusted accordingly. The ride height sensor is a moving part, and like all moving parts, they will eventually wear out. 2006-2011 Buick Lucerne Suspension Control Module- a computer which is responsible for the operations of the air suspension system and maintaining the vehicles correct ride height.

Suspension Failure Signs
Look for these common symptoms of a leaking or failed suspension in your 2006-2011 Buick Lucerne. The most noticeable is a sudden uneven height difference between the sides of your vehicle. A sagging rear or front end, or an inflated left or right side are all frequently noticed. Maybe the entire Lucerne is squatting too low to the ground. Your Lucerne should be meeting and maintaining its appropriate ride height consistently, or else you may be dealing with a bad suspension. Also, take note of the air compressor- is it working, or maybe running too often (noisy)? If there is an illuminated warning light or message on the instrument panel, you’re in trouble. A repair or replacement is necessary before all the other Buick Lucerne components wear out.

OEM Replacement Cost
'+ Electronic Front Struts ($610/strut) + Coil Springs ($50/spring) + Strut Mounts ($90/mount) = Over $1,500 (and that doesnt even include replacing electronic components that are known to fail such as the height sensors).

Aftermarket Replacement Cost
'+ Electronic Front Strut Assemblies ($720/strut) = Over $1,400 (and that doesn't even include replacing electronic components that are known to fail such as the height sensors).
Here at Strutmasters, we know there is a wide assortment of parts that make up the suspension system on your 2006-2001 Buick Lucerne. We have created a conversion kit that gets rid of the need for all these electronic components and parts to function together in sync in order for the suspension to work properly. This popular kit includes two completely pre-assembled coil-over struts that are simply installed with a few bolts per strut. Our conversions are affordable and the high-quality parts are more reliable than the factory parts straight from the dealer. It comes with our 1-year warranty. The kit serves as a direct replacement- no modifiers are needed. The kit is installed in about one hour per wheel and it usually takes about thirty minutes for the suspension warning light to turn off. Easy to follow pictorial instructions are included. Our Youtube channel installation videos will help your repair go smoothly, and if thats not enough, our in-house expert technicians are available to answer any questions you may have.
